Congresswoman Horn to host small business contracting workshop

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma’s aerospace industry is already the state’s second-largest employment sector, and fostering more relationships between suppliers and federal agencies can make it even stronger. Congresswoman Kendra Horn will host a workshop on Saturday, May 11, to help aerospace entrepreneurs promote their work to potential government clients. The federal procurement market presents ample opportunity to aerospace entrepreneurs, with more than $500 billion in federal contracts available annually and new opportunities designed for small firms. At the workshop, business owners will hear from government procurement officers, local Small Business Administration representatives, and others about navigating the procurement process and competing for government contracts.
