Rep. Horn Puts Focus on Education in District Tour

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – On Tuesday, Congresswoman Kendra Horn (OK-5) began a pre-K through college tour of Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District. Over the course of the week, the Congresswoman will meet with teachers, students, and childhood development program leaders to talk about the path forward for education in Oklahoma. This week, the Congresswoman will also host two town hall events, her third and fourth of the year.

“Education is the most important investment we can make in our future,” said Congresswoman Horn. “Our teachers and our schools open the doors of opportunity for Oklahoma’s next generation. Creating better opportunities for our children requires thoughtful and strategic investment in education at all levels – from early childhood through higher education. We must support our public school teachers, address the devastating impact of student debt in a way that’s fair to both students and taxpayers, and more.”
